Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans ends snipped off and washed
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil or use a sprayer to coat
  • About 1/4 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Prepare the Green Beans: Wash the green beans thoroughly and snip off the ends.
  • Season the Green Beans: In a large bowl, toss the green beans with sea salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Drizzle the olive oil or spray lightly to coat evenly.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: If preheating your air fryer, set it to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the Green Beans: Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 375°F for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Add the Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and melted.
  • Check for Doneness: The green beans should be tender with a slight crisp and the Parmesan should be golden.
  • Serve: Remove the green beans from the air fryer and serve immediately as a side dish or snack. This recipe makes approximately 4 servings.
